What’s New on the Bladerunner A-51?
The new BLADERUNNER A-51 has a redesigned riser that
provides a more narrow and comfortable grip section
along with a larger sight window area with improved
positioning of sight attachment holes to accommodate a
wider variety of sight styles. The pylons that support
the cams and spools have also been redesigned for added
strength and stability and improved bearings and bearing
housings have been provided for additional durability
and more positive alignment. The synchronizing system on
the A-51 operates in the same manner as with previous
BLADERUNNER models, but has been improved to provide a
more positive connection between the synchronizing
spools and the cams.
The cams provided on the A-51 provide the same
comfortable and smooth draw characteristics and positive
wall as
the previous BLADERUNNER bows. A wide range of draw
lengths, from 26” to 32” in one-half inch increments,
that are quickly and easily changed using
interchangeable cam modules, remain a highly versatile
feature on the A-51. However, the new A-51 cam design
allows for the availability of higher, 75 percent
let-off draw length modules with the standard, nominal
let-off remaining at 65 percent.
Peak weight range on the A-51 is still the best
available on one bow at from under
40 lbs. to a maximum of 70 lbs.
The true original center-shot, Iso-Force geometry that
provides a symmetrical
and balanced design that eliminates limb twist, wheel
lean, riser torque, and
many other problems found in conventional compound bow
design is a standard on BLADERUNNER bows, and the A-51
maintains that standard. Just like previous BLADERUNNER
bows, the A-51 is unbelievable quick and easy to set-up
and tune, and it will stay tuned from the first shot on!

Just like previous BLADERUNNER
bows, the A-51 is easy to work on and maintain. The draw length
modules, bowstring, and cables can be changed without the need
of a bow press. Comparing the A-51 to the previous BLADERUNNER
bow model will not reveal a dramatic change in appearance. In
fact, the basic original BLADERUNNER geometry remains unchanged.
After all, the original BLADERUNNER geometry already provides
the ultimate in accuracy, versatility, and downrange
performance. And, our objectives for the new BLADERUNNER A-51
did not include creating a different look,
or sticking a few more pieces of rubber on it somewhere, or
resurrecting some already tried design just to create a new
model. Our main objectives for the A-51 were to provide a more
rugged and durable shooting platform along with some additional
improvements based on feedback from those who have been shooting
BLADERUNNER bows, while maintaining all of the desirable
features and characteristics of the original
BLADERUNNER design. |

The archery
industry has waited many, many years for a truly new and
