The Thomas Hydraulic Pro Bow Press is new at Select Archery.  I have been searching for a bow press to offer you that is affordable, heavy duty and can press most bows out there...I have found that in the Thomas Hydraulic Pro Bow Press.  It's made by Dave Thomas and his company in rural Iowa.  Their attention to detail and commitment to quality make this a bow press that you can have confidence in - I have enough confidence in it that I am using it at the shop.

My experience with the bow press - I got the bow press in the shop and out of the box.  There is very little to assemble out of the box, so that is a definite plus for many people.  The components are well made and the directions are easy to follow.  Putting a bow in the press was a little different from what I was used to at first, but after figuring out the bungee cords, it was a breeze.  I pressed a Pearson Z-34 and Z-32 to see how easy the press is to adjust and how it will press parallel limb bows.  The press operates differently from others because it uses no downward force.  The press uses inward force to put the pressure on the bow limbs.  This is a definite advantage, as it pressed the Pearson Z-34 and Z-32 very easily.  I also pressed a Reflex Ridgeline 34 with Alphashox.  This is one of the only bow presses that I have used that allows me to keep in the Alphashox.  For those that have taken these in and out of bows, this is simply a Godsend.  Overall, I am very impressed with this bow press and I am proud to support the Thomas family by selling these bow presses.

The new hydraulic jack has 10" of travel, so it is more than enough to completely disassemble any bow on the market.  If you have been looking for the best bow press available, you have found it!!

Picture above shows bow press with optional stand.  Stand is $125 with the purchase of the bow press.  It is easy to put together and very sturdy.
